the USGWA in Michigan taking home her second State Championship Medal.

The Knights Wrestling Club is a member of the Illinois Kids Wrestling Federation,
(
IKWF), and  is also sanctioned by USA Wrestling, USAW.  The type of wrestling
taught is “Folk Style” which follows the National High School Federation rules with
IKWF modified weight classes and match time periods.
Knights Wrestling Club members will learn a variety of takedowns, pinning
combinations, reversals and escapes.  In addition  participants will increase
strength, conditioning, agility, flexibility and self-confidence.

The goal of the Knights Wrestling Club is  to ensure that the beginner as well as the
most advanced wrestlers can succeed.  The wrestlers compete against other
wrestlers who are the same age and weight.  Depending on ability and desire,
wrestlers can choose to attend as few or as many tournaments as they wish. All
coaches in the Knights Wrestling Club program give positive instruction and
feedback to the wrestlers and promote good sportsmanship.
