Every week the "Knights Wrestling Club" will name a team-member who exemplifies the
character,desire and attitude it takes to be a champion and Knight Leader.

Michael Silfugarian!
Mike wrestled the tournament like a true champion,after losing the first match he came back
and won his last two matches, because quitting was not an option for him. He also had the
courage to play The National Anthem of our great country on guitar in front of over one
thousand people.
Congratulations Mike on a great job from all of the Knights Wrestling Club.

Tim Richmond! Drew Franklin!
After the tremendous effort shown this week by the whole team it was impossible to choose
only one wrestler. This weeks champions showed incredible heart during all their matches
and refused to quit at any time.
Drew won all his matches and showed great desire to succeed in bringing home his first
place medal.
Tim lost his first match and could have given up but he came back determined and won the
next two matches by sheer will.

John McCaffrey!
John consistently is one of the hardest working wrestlers in practice and tournaments his
technique is very sound as his winning record shows. John took first place this week and
continues to work hard and show great sportsmanship every week.

Riley Vanik! Thomas Price!
to choose only one wrestler. This weeks champions proved that hard will always payoff in
Riley has won all his matches the last two weeks and showed great desire to succeed in
bringing home his first place medals and working very during practices.
Although Thomas didn't win all of his matches he made sure he was close in all of them which
shows his commitment to hard work and listening to the coaches.

Michael continues to work hard in practice and tournaments and is improving each week. He
showed great resilience this week after losing his first match and coming back to win the next
two exemplifying the never quit spirit of the Knights.

Once again after the tremendous effort shown this week by the whole team it was impossible
to choose only one wrestler. This weeks champions proved that hard will always payoff in
the end.
Both wrestlers have moved up a age bracket this year and have had to work extra hard.
However they continually train hard and come to every tournament to win, this weekend
proved for both that hard work pays off. While they faced hard competition they worked
through it and made everyone proud to call them Knights Wrestlers!

Joe Brasfield! Esai ponce!
Although the Knights did not have a tournament this week the decision was easy in naming Joe
and Esai wrestlers of the week. They continually work hard in practice and during every meet
as well as continuing to rack up wins at each meet.
While Esai and Joe are both gifted wrestlers they are also good role models for the younger
wrestlers by showing what can be achieved with hard work in practice!

Josh Cline! Tanner Chada!
Once again after the tremendous effort shown this week by the whole team it was impossible
to choose only one wrestler. This weeks champions proved that hard will always payoff in the
end.
Sunday morning Josh was asked and agreed to "wrestle up" (move up a age bracket) after
losing his first match Josh showed determination and came back and won the last two, one by
pin that kind of spirit is what the Knights Wrestling Club is all about.
Tanner came out ready to go on Sunday he won his first match and would not be denied first
place. His championship for the day came in o/t in his last match again showing the heart of a
champion.
